Hygiene rules

If we all comply with the hygiene rules (social distancing, good hygiene and wearing a mask for everyday activities + app + ventilation), we can protect ourselves and others. This will make everyday life during the pandemic more pleasant and safer for us all.

Maintaining social distance

Whether you are going to work, are out shopping or simply going for a walk – be sure to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from other people. By doing so, you will reduce the risk of infection. Because people do not always know that they are carrying the virus.

Maintaining good hygiene

If you sneeze or cough, put your elbow in front of your mouth. This will prevent any droplets from being spread around in your immediate surroundings. You should also carefully wash your hands with soap several times a day. This will prevent the virus from being spread via your hands.

Everyday use of a mask

If you are not able to maintain the minimum required social distance, we recommend that you wear a mask. There is a mandatory requirement in this region to wear an FFP2 mask on buses and in shops, for example. Important: Even if you are wearing a mask, you should still try to maintain social distance from others.

We strongly recommend that you download the Corona-Warn-App onto your smart phone. The app will let you know if you have been in close contact with a person who has the virus. The more people have the app, the less the Coronavirus will be able to spread. It also allows you to store your vaccination certificate on your phone.

In closed indoor spaces, it is very important to have good ventilation. Covid can spread into the atmosphere when people breathe out. When a room is well ventilated, the air in the room is regularly replaced by fresh air, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
